Auto-Tuning
This product is equipped with an auto-tuning function. Using the auto-tuning function provides
more accurate temperature control in response to the ambient temperature and other conditions.
< Auto-Tuning Procedure >
Pressing the [FUNC] button one time immediately starts the auto-tuning function.
During auto-tuning, the screen alternately displays the operating mode and auto-tuning screens.
When the process is complete, only the operating mode screen is displayed, as normal.

During auto-tuning, each press of the [FUNC] button switches the function ON or OFF.
< CAUTION >

In some cases, the current temperature can fluctuate near the set temperature during
auto-tuning. This is due to the temperature control process of auto-turning and does not
indicate an abnormality or malfunction.

If auto-tuning is not performed after the temperature setting has been changed, temperature is
controlled based on the previous auto-tuning parameters. Since the temperature or other
conditions may have changed since the previous time, perform auto-tuning again if
high-accuracy temperature control is desired.

If you want to avoid heating the sample above the set temperature, preheat the heating
table until the temperature stabilizes (several minutes) before starting use. Note that
placing the sample in the bell jar after the temperature stabilizes will change the control
conditions, which might affect temperature control accuracy.
