(3)
Specify auto-tuning and over-temperature prevention settings. (This may be omitted.)
•
If auto-tuning is not specified, then factory parameter settings (40
°
C temperature setting) are
applied. Auto-tuning is recommended even if a temperature setting of 40
°
C is desired, due to
differences in the ambient temperature and other factors. (See page 16.)
•
Change the setting for the over-temperature prevention function if necessary.
(See page 17.)
(4)
When finished using the instrument, switch OFF the power via the operating mode screen.
< CAUTION >
*
If the instrument has been operated at a high temperature for a long period, reset the
temperature to 40
°
C and confirm that the current temperature has decreased to near 40
°
C
before switching OFF the power. Switching the power OFF when the temperature is still high
also stops the cooling fan that discharges heat from inside the instrument housing, possibly
resulting in instrument failure.
< Useful Advice >
The power switch operation and the vacuum operation are independent of each other. (The
power switch is linked to the temperature controller and cooling fan.) Therefore, the vacuum
level can be maintained even without power being supplied.
Setting values (auto-tuning results and temperature setting values) are retained even if the
power is switched OFF.
