Setting Up the User Password

To set the user password, you have to set the supervisor password first.

1. Open

the

Security

menu of the Setup Utility as in the previous subsection.

2. Select

Set User Password

with the arrow key, and press

Enter

Type your user password, and press

Enter

. The password can be up to seven

characters.

Type the same password for confirmation, and press

Enter

5. Press

Enter

again. The user password is enabled.

Deleting a Password

1. Open

the

Security

menu of the Setup Utility as in the above.

2. Select

Set Supervisor Password

Set User Password

, then press

Enter

Do not enter password, but press

Enter

three times. The password is disabled.

If you delete the supervisor password, the user password is automatically
deleted.
