Connecting to AC Power

Your notebook works with either the rechargeable battery or AC power. See the
next chapter for more information on power sources. Before using the notebook for
the first time:
1.

Make sure the notebook is turned off.

Connect the notebook and the AC adapter with the adapter cable.

Plug the AC cord into the AC adapter.

•

Always use the AC adapter included with the notebook. Using other
AC adapters may damage the notebook.

•

Always hold the AC cord by its plug when pulling off from the wall
outlet.

Plug the AC cord into a wall outlet.
