PROFINET IO controller stack

The PROFINET IO controller stack of the controller is part of the IEC project. For an
executable PROFINET device, you must activate and parameterize a fieldbus station
both in the MOVISUITE

®

 engineering software and in the IEC Editor.

7.3

PROFINET alarms

PROFINET  alarms  are  accessible  via  the  interface  of  the  IEC  editor  and  various  lib-
rary functions. For further information, refer to the online help of the IEC editor.

7.4

PROFINET RT communication

The device supports the PROFINET feature RT communication (real-time communica-
tion).

7.5

PROFINET IRT communication

When planning your application, please note that IRT communication is not supported.
