CABLE REPLACEMENT
Under rough use conditions, it may become necessary to replace the detachable
controller cable. This will only be necessary if the controller is used detached from
the platform. Use only a Setra Part Number 402615 cable. To replace the cable, refer
to Figure 4 and proceed as follows.
1. Disconnect power and turn optional battery off.
2. Detach controller from weighing platform.
3. Remove the four Phillips screws from the bottom cover of the controller. Re-
move the bottom cover.
4. Disconnect the old cable from the controller printer circuit board.
5. Connect one end of the new cable to the controller board.
6. Feed the new cable into the strain relief on the controller bottom cover.
7. Replace the bottom cover.
8. Turn the weighing platform over so it is resting on its pan.
9. Remove the cable cover (right cover) by removing the two Phillips screws.
10. Disconnect the old cable from the connector in the rear of the cable cavity and
discard.
11. Place the new cable into the cavity and plug it into the receptacle at the rear of
the cavity.
12. Replace the cable cover and the two screws.
13. Place the weighing platform upright.
14. Turn the power on.
15. Test to make certain that the display, keyboard, and beeper function correctly.
