Appendix 1 – File formats
Both Audit and Temperature Logging Cards are saved to .csv (comma separated value) format files that can be imported
into a number of packages, including Microsoft Excel. Records are tabulated with a title to each column.
Example Audit File
– values are in base units (cents, pence etc.)
Example Temperature Logging File
– in this example, temperatures are in Centigrade, defrost duration is in minutes.
Readings are logged approximately every minute.
