NOTE:
Unfortunately, there are 8-pole plugs with different pin numbering for the PINs 7
and 8. The PTC-IIex needs an 8-pole plug with U-shaped contact footprint. Plugs with
circular contact footprint don’t fit or can only be connected to the PTC-IIex with
damaging force! One should not blindly rely on the printed numbers on the plug. The
PTC can be used without changes, the
pin-out is the same of the Z80-PTC set for AFSK.
