SEL-352-1, -2 Instruction Manual 

FAULT Target LED 

The relay illuminates and latches the FAULT target LED when the output element for breaker 
failure while tripping fault current (FBF) asserts.  The target LED latches until the condition 
goes away and either the Target Reset button is pushed or the 

TAR R

 command is issued to one 

of the serial ports.  Figure 5.16 shows the FAULT target LED logic.

LOAD Target LED 

The relay illuminates and latches the LOAD target LED when the output element for breaker 
failure while tripping load or line charging current (LBF) asserts.  The target LED latches until 
the condition goes away and either the Target Reset button is pushed or the 

TAR R

 command is 

issued to one of the serial ports.  Figure 5.17 shows the LOAD target LED logic.

UBAL Target LED
