6.4 Disassembling the module

1. Remove the compressed air lines.
2. Undo the screws (47) and remove the cover plate (5).
3. Mark the installation position of the piston (3) and the base
jaws (2).
4. Undo the screws (41) and remove the cover (4).
5. Mark the installation position of the cylinder piston (6) in the
housing (1).
6. Unscrew lock nut (13) and remove cylinder piston (6) from the
housing (1).
7. Push the piston (3) upwards out of the housing (1).
8. Pull the base jaws (2) out of the housing (1).
6.5 Maintenance of the module
• Clean all parts thoroughly and check for damage and wear.
• Replace all wear parts / seals.
The seals are in the enclosed sealing kit.

• Treat all greased areas with lubricant.

purpose remove the cover plate.
• Oil or grease bare external steel parts.
Depending on the load, the guides in the housing can be re-
lubricated.
