4.13.5 Manual operation
The manual operation element (

) is
connected to the control unit via a cable.
The height is adjusted using buttons

Using buttons D + E the tilt of the reclining
surface can also be adjusted for sizes 3+4.
4.13.6 Safety switch-off
The motor-supported height and tilt adjustment (see Points 3.2 + 3.4 ) is
equipped with a safety switch-off that prevents "lifting of the sub-frame".
If the footrests are in contact with the ground, the downward movement
is stopped. The height adjustment rises again automatically by 10 mm to
ensure the stability of
till.

Despite the safety switch-off, permanent presence of an accompanying person
is required when adjusting the motors !
4.13.7 Battery pack for motor support
Alternatively to the mains-powered
power supply, the motors can also be
operated with a lithium-ion battery pack
(
F
). This battery pack has a low weight and
a high degree of power and safety. The
battery pack is charged automatically via
the control element if it is connected via the
mains cable. The integrated LED (
G
) lights
up in yellow during the charging process.
The LED goes off when the battery pack is
charged completely. The buzzer installed
in the control unit warns with an acoustic
signal (beep signal), if a button is pressed
on the manual controller and if the battery
pack should be low. If the LED light flashes,
there has been a fault during the charging
process. In this case, kindly contact your
specialist dealer (see
Point 8.5
).
Safety instructions:
• Do not open the battery pack housing, since the cells or circuits
probably develop excessive heat.
• Defective or damaged lithium-ion battery packs are not permitted
for transport.
