5. Accessories.
5.17.6 Removal of the ISO-TURN
To remove the ISO-TURN, the ISOFIX con-
nection must be released. Unlock the ISO-
TURN by pressing the two red buttons (
A )
on both sides in the direction of travel to be
able to release the fastening hook from the
strap. Push the ISO-TURN back a few milli-
metres and lift it up. Now you can remove the
ISO-TURN together with the
carrot 3.
from the
vehicle.
5.17.7 Installation / changing the direction of rotation
Please observe the following torques when installing or changing the rota-
tion direction (from left to right and vice versa)
Pivot bolts M 16 mm 38 Nm
Nut 24 mm
Pivot bearing cover ring cylinder screw 12 Nm
4 x 6 x 10 mm
ISO – Fix countersunk screw 12 Nm
8 x 6 x 20 mm
Support foot cylinder screw 12 Nm
4 x 6 x 20 mm
Foot support fixture countersunk screw 12 Nm
8 x 6 x 20 mm
Back bar pivot point cylinder screw 2 Nm
2 x 8 x 25 mm
This change should only be made by the quali-
fied specialist dealer, as it is a safety-relevant
product.
The black plastic cap (B) may not be removed!
They are used to secure! Risk of injury!
