5. Accessories.

5.15 ISO-BASE and ISO-TURN with ISOFIX connection

With the ISO-BASE or ISO-Turn you have chosen a particularly high-quality
product. Due to its extremely solid construction, it can be used for many
years. Your specialist dealer can help you with the installation of the ISO_
BASE (see

Point 10.5

). The ISO-TURN should be installed by an authorised

dealer! They should instruct you on how to use our product before it is put
into operation so that you can handle it easily and safely and thus enjoy it.
To ensure safe use of the ISO-BASE or ISO-TURN, please read and observe
the instructions for use and especially the safety precautions. We ask for
your understanding that the instructions must be different according to
the different versions.

The following vehicle seats are not suitable for use with the ISO-BASE or ISO-

TURN:

• Car seats without an ISOFIX connection
• Car seats that are fastened sideways or backwards
• Car seats that are less than 40 cm deep
• Car seats with a pronounced bulge on the seat that can lead to unsta-

ble fastening

• Car seats with a two-point strap.

5.15.1 What to consider before using the ISO-BASE or ISO-TURN

Please transport the child with the 4-point or 5-point strap of the

carrot 3.

or

carrot 3 XL.

and the 3-point safety belt of the car. Any modification of

the product is your responsibility. We are not responsible for any damage
that occurs as a result of incorrect conversion. Only the accompanying
person should operate the product. Only suitable for use in vehicles that
are equipped with 3-point safety belts. When installing, please ensure that
no part of the ISO-BASE or -TURN can be trapped under a moving seat or
in the door during normal use of the vehicle.

A poorly fitted ISO-BASE or -TURN can lead to a high risk of death or injury. Use

only for certain children and only with the car seats described above. We recom-

mend the position behind the passenger.

Regular checks are necessary if you are driving on bad roads and before
and after a trip. The user manual must always be enclosed with the prod-
uct. Do not forget this when you give it to other people. Make sure that
the ISOFIX connection of the ISO-BASE or TURN to the car seat is properly
engaged.
If your product has an ISOFIX connection this must be used in conjunction
with the ISOFIX connection in the vehicle at all times.
