4. Operation.
In general, the seat depth (
A
) should be
slightly shorter than the distance from the
pelvis to the back of the knee. This means
that the seat should stop before the back of
the knee, when the child's pelvis is positioned
as far back as possible on the seat.
4.7 Strap pads
By varying the fastening of the Velcro straps
on the back of the headrest, you can bring
the strap pads into the desired position.
4.8 Chest pad
To adjust the desired height of the chest pad
(
C
), press the yellow button (
B
) in the front
area of the seat and keep it pressed until the
chest pad (
C
) is optimally positioned.
WARNING:
The upper edge of the chest pad (C) must be
lower than the area of the child's throat. If
the chest pad is attached too high (D), there
is a risk that it will come too close to the
throat and trigger gag reflexes. Please note
that in addition to the standard chest pad,
there is a 55 mm narrower and 30 mm short-
er version for very small children.
