3. Installation.

3.3.3 Installing the carrot 3. facing forwards 

• IMPORTANT: Before installing the 

carrot 3.

 

make sure that the aircraft seat is posi-
tioned fully upright.

• Then place the 

carrot 3.

 facing forwards on 

the aircraft seat.

• Ensure that the back of the child seat 

leans firmly against the backrest of the 
aircraft seat.

• Fasten the fastening strap (

A

) around the 

back of the aircraft seat and tighten it.

• Place the child in the 

carrot 3.

 and fasten 

the strap on the 

carrot 3.

.

• Then they guide the safety belt installed 

in the aircraft (

) through the lower strap 

guides (

) and over the child.

• Then tighten the aircraft safety belt and 

ensure that the aircraft seat belt buckles 
(

) are securely closed.

• Check once more: Try to move the 

carrot 3.
