Switch on the devices.
When switching on for the first time, the manual slide valve must be set to
release in order for the reservoir to be evacuated (warning signal sounds
until the working vacuum in the reservoir is reached).
Position the lifting device over the center of gravity of the load. Do not lift the
load at an angle.
Lower the lifting device onto the load. Ensure that all suction plates are in
contact with the load. If the device has suction plates which can be
deactivated, ensure that the unused suction plates are deactivated and that
the suction plates on the workpiece are activated.
Move the sleeve of the manual sliding valve on the handle into t
he “Vacuum
on/off” position. Suction is applied to the load.

Switch on the devices.
Press the “Suction ON” button on the operating panel to pick up the load.
After turning on the electrical power supply, you must press the “Release” and “Suction ON”
buttons together briefly to build up the vacuum in the vacuum reservoir. (Warning signal sounds
until the working vacuum in the reservoir is reached)
Watch the gauge. You can lift the load as soon as the partial vacuum reaches -0.6 bar
(manometer pointer is in the green zone).
WARNING
Danger due to falling objects
This can result in serious injury.
►
Only lift the workpiece once a vacuum value of -0.6 bar (gauge needle in green
zone) has been reached, otherwise the holding force will be insufficient.
►
It is not permitted to pick up loads with moist, wet, oily, icy, dirty or dusty
surfaces, or any other surfaces that would reduce the friction!
►
It is not permitted to operate the device in moist, wet, oily, icy, dirty or dusty
environments, or in any other environments that would reduce the friction.
►
The maximum lift capacity of the individual suction plates must not be
exceeded.
