5 Installation
Please read section 1.6 (Requirements & instructions for installation,
maintenance and operating staff) before starting installation.

5.2
Attach the lifting device to the suspension bar/bolt of the hoist being used. Attach it securely. Be sure
to take into account the weight of the lifting device as well as the load.
WARNING
Risk of load breaking off due to incorrect mounting
Falling parts could hit people in the vicinity, causing death or serious injury!

The lifting device must be suspended from the suspension eye!
►
The permissible load of the crane or chain hoist must be sufficient to equal at
least the combined weight and load of the lifting device.
►
The hoist must be in perfect working order!
Setting the state of equilibrium
5.3
There are several holes in the crane eye on the lifting device. These allow you to adjust the balance
the lifting device to suit the different loads being lifted.
Procedure:
Hang the lifting device in the middle hole.
Raise the lifting device and pick up the product.
Raise the lifting device and load slowly!
Assess the tilt angle and, if necessary, set down the load
again securely.
Rehang the crane hook accordingly in the crane eye.
