5.6. Mobile home requirements
When the ZC-fireplace is installed in a mobile home it must be bolted to the floor.
The ZC-fireplace, when installed, must be electrically grounded in accordance with local codes or, in the absence of
local codes, with the National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70, or the Canadian Electrical Code, CSA C22.1.
5.7. Floor protection requirements
When the ZC-fireplace is installed directly on carpeting, vinyl or other combustible material other than wood flooring
or a high pressure laminate wood floor, the ZC-fireplace must be installed on a metal or wood protection panel
extending the full width and depth of the ZC-fireplace (minimum 30x22
⅛ ”). Furthermore the four adjustable feet’s
must be screwed out to 3/8” from the bottom of the ZC-fireplace. See Figure 8.
