Serial Interfaces (P2301, P2302, P2700, P2701)
The VP7 offers four serial ports, two are optional (COM3 and COM4). COM1 and COM2 have
socketed line drivers configured for RS232 and can be reconfigured for RS422 by the user. COM3 and
COM4 can be ordered with RS232 or RS422 transceivers. COM1,COM2,COM3 and COM4 are
accessible via the front panel connectors which are D-Sub type.
