This chapter describes the software- and hardware-configurable options of the
V5C, as well as interrupts, DMA channels, and non-PC99 registers.

Processor Type & Speed

The V5C is designed to accommodate socket 370 processors ( Pentium III or
Celeron ) at a variety of speeds.  It can operate with a Celeron 450/66 and above,
or a Pentium III/100 and above, according to market availability.

DRAM Size

The V5C comes standard with 128MB SDRAM. This memory is selectable for
128, 256 and 512MB.  A single SODIMM expansion socket allows memory
upgrades up to 1 GigaByte, depending on the on-board memory size.
(SODIMM max = 512MB.)
