supports block mode (most new drives do), select
ENABLED for automatic detection of the optimal num-
ber of block read/writes per sector the drive can support.
Onboard FDC
Select ENABLED if your system has a floppy disk con-

troller (FDC) installed on the system board and you wish
to use it. If you install an add-in FDC or the system has
no floppy drive, select DISABLED in this field.
Onboard Serial
Select a logical COM port name and matching address
Ports (1/2, A/B)
for the first and second serial ports. Select an address
and corresponding interrupt for the first and second seri-
al ports. Options are: AUTO, COM1/3F8, COM2/2F8,
COM3/3E8, COM4/2E8, and DISABLED.
Onboard Parallel
Select a logical LPT port address and corresponding

interrupt for the physical parallel port. Options are:
DISABLED, 278/IRQ5, 3BC/IRQ7, and 378/IRQ7.
Parallel Port Mode
Select an operating mode for the onboard parallel (printer)
port. Select SPP unless you are certain your hardware and
software both support one of the other available modes.
Options are: SPP, EPP 1.7, ECP EPP 1.7, EPP 1.9, ECP,
ECP EPP 1.9.
