Risk of injury and risk of damage to the machine!
The device, including the control interface, is a command receiver. It checks
whether the signals sent correspond to the technical and time conditions.
The device cannot, however, evaluate the fundamental logic of a signal.
Example: If a demagnetising command is sent, the device will execute it.
Failure to observe this can result in unintentional clamping or release cycles
being triggered unintentionally. There is a danger of falling over or throwing
away workpieces.

The logic of the higher-level customer-side control system must comply
with the intended use and the relevant standards and regulations.
The pinout of the control interface is shown in the following figure.

NOTE!
The power supply units of connected devices, e.g. a PLC, must be SELV/PELV
power supply units.
Except for pins 2 and 4, the control interface has a functional galvanic isolation. This constitutes a decoupling of
the control unit from connected devices, e.g. a PLC.
