3. TRANSPORT, INSTALLATION AND SETTING UP.
3.1. PACKING AND STORING.
Before packing, all the parts not painted are covered with antirust and antioxidant
products, while the breakable parts are protected by plastic packing material. The
packed and well preserved material, can be stored for a period of two years
approximately in a covered area where the temperature ranges between –15°C
and +45°C with a relative moisture of 80%. Different environmental conditions need
a specific packing.
For each type of material packing, you have to dispose it according to laws
prevailing in the country of destination.
3.1.1. PACKING FOR LAND TRANSPORT.
In case of land transport, the press is fixed on a square wooden frame, protected
by a plastic cover, while the accessories are packed in protected cases. It is also
possible to put the press directly on the vehicle and the accessories on a pallet.
3.1.2. PACKING FOR SEA TRANSPORT.
In case of sea transport and foreseeable storing, the press with his accessories is
packed in wooden cases with the walls covered by tar paper. The case top is
covered by galvanized sheet iron.
The construction features of the case require a sturdiness that permits eventual
stacking. To open a packing case, keep away the top, then the side walls and the
plastic cover.
NOTE: THE CASES HAVE TO BE MOVED BY AN ADEQUATE CRANE.
