1.4. SAFE USE OF THE MACHINE.
SAS has adopted all measures and attentions to draw,
manufacture and define use procedure of the press so
to ensure the highest safety degree during the use of
the system supplied.
The components are conformable to the recent rules;
the up-dated safety devices are assembled to ensure
the highest safety degree.
THE PRESS CAN BE USED ONLY BY EXPERT OPERATORS INSTRUCTED ON THE SAFE
FUNCTIONING.
1.4.1. DEFINITION.
OPERATOR = in charge of the functioning, adjustment and cleaning of the press.
The operator must be expert of soap processing and properly instructed on the
disposition, use and location of the push-button panel and control board of the
SAS press and also on the presence and the use of safety devices.
The operator must know in detail the functioning modes, the charge and
discharge procedures, the risks connected to the processing, damages to persons
and goods in case of improper use, abuse and tampering of the SAS press and
foreseen safety devices.
MAINTENANCE MAN = specialized mechanic an/or electronic prepared, trained
and instructed on the SAS press in case of fault or maintenance.
MANUFACTURER’S TECHNICIAN = qualified technician entrusted by the supplier to
execute complicated repairs under particular situations, in accordance wit the
machine sales contract.
WORK SITE = dangerous zone where, for safety reasons, the introduction of parts of
the body of people when the press is running is not allowed.
MAINTENANCE ZONE = when the SAS press is running, this zone can be reached
only by expert and instructed maintenance men.
OPERATOR’S ZONE = zone where the operator can stay while the SAS Press is
running, to control the processing operations.
