Cooling operation for all indoor units
Refrigerant recovery operation (1)
Change the indoor unit quantity setting
(including changing of the group control
and intensive control settings)
Open the ball valve
Enable operation
Replace or repair the faulty unit
Inspect for leaks*
Electronic expansion valve or strainer fault
This occurs when refrigerant is recovered
during an internal leak or other fault
When a fault has occurred not requiring
removal of the unit, or when you want
to leave the faulty unit as it is for several
days and operate the normal units.
Change the indoor unit quantity setting
(including changing of the group control
and intensive control settings)
Short-circuit the indoor unit control PCB
check 2P pin (CA5).
The low drain pump is turned on.
Operation is not performed if there is a
fault in the transformer, microcontroller
or fuse.
When the fan and drain
pump do not operate
Connect the fan motor lead wire to the
forced execution connector side (yellow)
for fan and drain pump operation.
(Operation is not performed if there is
a fault in the fuse or a broken wire.)
Manually close the electronic expansion
valve. (Turn the coil clockwise about
eight times.)
Change the indoor unit quantity setting
Group control and intensive control
Enable normal operation of other indoor
units (However, since a fault may occur,
try to repair the faulty unit as quickly as
possible.)
Air purging with a vacuum pump
Change the indoor unit quantity setting
(including changing of the group control
and central control settings)
Air purging with a vacuum pump*
Refrigerant charge*
(Inject from the liquid pipe side)
(amount of refrigerant unable to be
recovered)
Yes
* Performed from the service port of the indoor unit-side ball valve
Has a ball valve
Provided in each
system or none
Refrigerant charge*
(Inject from the liquid pipe side)
(amount of refrigerant unable to be
recovered)
The procedure for refrigerant recovery when replacing or repairing an indoor unit due to a faulty refrigerant recovery
circuit or other cause is shown below. Be sure to perform this procedure correctly.
