Charging Your iPhone/iPod
1. Your iPhone/iPod has an internal non-removable battery, the battery may need to be
charged if the iPod has not been used for awhile.
2. You can charge the iPhone/iPod through the unit automatically under POWER ON or
STANDBY mode when the mains switch at the rear panel of the unit is switched to the
ON position.
The iPod battery is 80% charged in about an hour, and fully charged in about
a few hours. If you charge it while playing music, it may take longer.
• It is not recommended to charge when using the TUNER mode. It may interfere
with the reception.
• To avoid damaging your iPhone/iPod or the unit please take care when
inserting and removing your iPhone/iPod from the dock.

Generation iPods.
AUX Input
There is a LINE IN socket located on the rear side of the unit. Analogue audio sound signals
from other sources can be input to the unit through this socket.
1. Connect the input to another audio device with a LINE IN socket via a 3.5mm stereo
cable (not included).
2. During POWER ON mode, tap the FUNCTION icon on the unit or press the FUNCTION
button on the remote control repeatedly to select the AUX Input function until “AUX”
shows on the display.
3. Press the /– buttons on the unit or the remote control to adjust the volume
control to your desired sound output level.
4. In AUX mode, operate your audio device directly for playback features.
Make sure all connections are removed from the sockets before switching off
the power or withdrawing the mains plug from the mains socket.
While in AUX mode, the unit will automatically switch to STANDBY mode
in about 4 hours. “AUTO OFF” will flash on the display 10 minutes before
switching to STANDBY mode. You can reset the 4-hour countdown by
pressing “INTRO” while “AUTO OFF” is flashing.
