Changing the Fan Tray Assembly

The Fan Tray Unit includes four fans and mounts directly behind the front
panel of the router and contains four intake fans and an LED Card. The LED
Card provides fan speed control and thermal sensing, in addition to holding
the eight front panel LED indicators.

The Tray Assembly is a field replaceable unit. Follow the procedures below to
replace a fan tray.

To remove a fan tray:

1.

Samsung recommends that you turn off router power when replacing fan

trays. Do not operate the iBG3026 without an operation fan tray in place.

2.

Remove the two front panel screws and put front panel aside.

3.

Remove the two fan tray screws.

4.

Grasp the fan tray by its edges and pull gently until the four fan

connector wires are exposed.

5.

Disconnect the four electrical connectors and discard the fan tray as

instructed by Samsung (return or dispose of properly).

6.

To replace the fan tray, see the following procedure.
