MEMORY

The memory unit is a hard disk drive (HDD). It is used for storing the main system program as well as all messages
and prompts.The amount of storage time on the HDD is determined by the size of the drive (in Megabytes, MB).

The current storage time of this memory is about 190 hours. The memory for the SVMi-8 card is available only from
SAMSUNG.

The HDD can be removed or replaced in the event of a problem or upgrade. It is held in place on the SBC by four
screws.

The HDD is connected to the SBC with a ribbon cable. Note that the connector on the HDD has four extra pins on
the end of the connector. Do not use these pins.
