DESCRIPTION:
Provides a means to means to set the ITM3 internal numbering plan for digit dialing
and conversion.
•
ACCESS CODE:
This is the access code once the ITM3 is accessed directs a
call based on the routing tables. An access code table is references an access
code. A maximum of 8 digits are available with 32 access code entries (00~32).
Entries 33~62 are utilized as incoming routing tables and determine the number
of digits to expect. Entries 33~62 do not prompt for IP outbound routing tables
and are used for incoming VoIP calls only.
•
CODE LENGTH:
This field requests the number of digits that are expected to be
dialed to make up the access code.
•
DEL LENGTH:
This is the number of digits to delete after receiving the access
code. If no digits are deleted the access code will be sent as part of the call to
the destination to continue routing at the far end destination.
•
INSERT CODE:
This is the code to insert for routing at the destination. This can
be used when different numbering plans exist or if a dial 9 access is needed to
be inserted in the dialed digits.
•
IP TABLE 1:
This is the first table referenced for routing the access code to an
IP address The iDCS 500 has 32 OUTGOING ROUTING IP tables (00~31) with
32 entries (00~31) in each table. Tables 33 ~62 are INCOMING ROUTING
tables. Incoming routing tables route incoming IP calls to iDCS system
destinations or trunks and allow manipulation of the digits. Incoming routing
tables do not prompt for IP table numbers.
•
IP TABLE 2:
This is the second table referenced as a look up for an IP address
to route the call based on the access code if the IP Table 1 address or network
is not available.
•
IP START:
This entry indicates where in a table to start looking for an IP code to
associated with the access code. This can be used to manage where to start
looking for an IP address in high traffic ITM3 applications. Example: If IP address
routing to the desired destination is known to be in the last 7 entries of a table
the IP START location would be 25. IP address searching would start at entry 25.
