Food Stamp Subtotal & Tender
Food Stamp options include:
•
The
FD/S TEND
key can be programmed to forgive tax on items paid for with food stamps.
•
Food Stamp change of less than $1 can be applied toward the sale or given as change.
Consult with your installing dealer to verify that food stamp programming is set to correspond with food
stamp merchant rules in your area.
To complete a food stamp transaction:
1.
Register all items you wish to sell. (No need to sort food stamp eligible and non-eligible items, The
Sam4POS will maintain a subtotal of food stamp eligible items based on the programmed status for
each item.)

Press or touch

. The total of items eligible for food stamp payment displays:

Enter food stamp tender amount, press or touch FD/S TEND.

Pay remainder due (if any) with
CASH

or by one of the miscellaneous tender functions
(charge).
Foreign Currency Subtotal & Tender

which is pre-programmed with the exchange rate
(for example, a Canadian Dollar may be worth
$0.75 US.)
