Ignite the pilot light and burner
DANGER! If there is a smell of gas, do not ignite the gas flame!
Risk of explosion!
.
Shut off the gas tap on site!
.
Do not switch on or off electrical appliances!
.
Open windows and doors! Thoroughly ventilate the room with a draught!
.
After sufficient ventilation, determine the location of escaping gas!
.
Inform the standby service of the gas network operator!
.
Open the baking oven door.
● When the appliance has not been used for a
longer period of time: e. g. the main shut-off
device was closed, it may take slightly longer
before the pilot light ignites (the gas supply
has to fill up with gas again).
.
Press in and hold the gas control, turn to igni
tion symbol
.
.
Whilst pressing the gas control, repeatedly
press the piezo spark ignition until the pilot
light starts burns.
● Check the pilot light. See the hole in the heat
conduction plate!
.
After igniting the pilot light, keep the gas con
trol pressed for approx. 5 - 10 seconds,
‒ so that the thermocouple can sufficiently
heat up and
‒ the gas supply is not automatically shut off
again (automatic safety pilot).
.
After the ignition procedure, release the gas
control and rotate to the temperature required.
