1) Configuring as a DHCP client
In Windows XP
• click Start / Control Panel / Network
Connections .
• right-click the appropriate network, and
then select Properties ; the
Local Area Connection Properties
appears.
•
select the protocol TCP/IP of the
network card, and then click the
Properties button; the screen Internet
Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties
appears.
• select the general tab, then the case
" Obtain an IP address automatically "
and the case " Obtain the addresses
of the DNS servers automatically ".
• click the OK button to confirm your
choice.
