and manufacture consumer products with the safety of you, our valued 

customer, foremost in mind. In addition we ask that you exercise a degree 

of care when using any electrical appliance and adhere to the following 

precautions.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE AND SAVE FOR FUTURE 

REFERENCE
•  Remove any packaging material and promotional labels before using the 

blender for the first time.

•  To avoid choking hazard for young children, remove and safely dispose 

the protective cover fitted on the power plug. 

•  Do not attempt to operate the blender by any method other than that it is 

intended and described in this booklet.

•  Before using for the first time please ensure that your electricity supply is 

the same as shown on the rating label on the underside of the appliance. 

If you have any concerns please contact your local electricity company.

•  Do not place blender near the edge of a bench or table during operation. 

Ensure the surface is level, clean and free of water, flour, etc.  

Vibration during operation may cause the appliance to move.

•  Any significant spillage onto the surface under or around the appliance,  

or onto the appliance itself, should be cleaned and dried before 

continuing to use the appliance. 

•  Do not place this appliance on or near a hot gas or electric burner,  

or where it could touch a heated oven.

•  Always make sure the blender is properly assembled before use.  

The appliance will not operate unless properly assembled.  

Refer to assembly.

•  Only use blender jug supplied with the blender. 

•  Always ensure bender lid is firmly in position on blender jug before 

operating.

•  Always ensure the blender is turned OFF by pressing the POWER button 

on the control panel. Then switch the appliance OFF at the power outlet 

and unplug the cord. Make sure the motor and blades have completely 

stopped before attempting to move the appliance and/or attempting to 

move the appliance, when the blender is unattended, not in use and 

before assembly, disassembling, cleaning and storing. 

•  Do not operate the blender continuously with heavy loads for more than 

10 seconds. Allow the motor to rest for 1 minute between each use. 

•  If food becomes lodged around the blending blade, turn the blender  

off by pressing the POWER button on the control panel. Then switch  

the appliance off at the power outlet and unplug the cord. Make sure  

the motor and blades have completely stopped before removing the  

jug from the motor base. Use a spatula to dislodge or stir the food  

before continuing. 

•  Keep hands, fingers, hair, clothing as well as spatulas and other utensils 

away from the appliance during operation.

•  Be careful when handling the jug as the blades are very sharp. 

Mishandling may cause injury.

•  Do not remove the blender jug from the motor base while in operation. 

•  Do not operate the blender without food or liquid in the jug.

•  Do not process hot or boiling liquids as they can be ejected out of jug due 

to sudden steaming.

•  Do not subject blender to extreme hot or cold for example placing a cold 

jug in hot water or vice versa.

•  Do not use blender while OVERLOAD PROTECTION is flashing on 

LCD. It will stop flashing when blender has cooled down. The blender will 

return to STANDBY mode and can be used as normal. 

•  Keep the appliance clean. Refer to Care, Cleaning and Guarantee.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS FOR ALL ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES
•  Unwind power cord fully before use.

•  Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table, counter,  

touch hot surfaces or become knotted.

•  To protect against electric shock do not immerse the power cord,  

power plug or appliance in water or any other liquid.

•  This appliance is for household use only. Do not use this appliance for 

anything other than its intended use. Misuse may cause injury.

•  In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cut 

out this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching 

device such as a timer or connected to a circuit that it regularly switched 

on and off by the utility. 

•  Children shall not play with the appliance.

•  This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, 

sensory or mental capabilities, lack of experience and knowledge, 

or children unless they have been given supervision or instruction 

concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. 

Keep the appliance and its cord out of the reach of children.

•  Do not use the appliance if power cord, power plug or appliance 

becomes damaged in any way. 

The symbol shown indicates that this appliance should not 

be disposed of in normal household waste. It should be taken 

to a local authority waste collection centre designated for 

this purpose or to a dealer providing this service. For more 

information, please contact your local council office.

OPERATION

GETTING STARTED

ON/OFF
The ON/OFF button powers the unit into READY mode.

READY MODE  
The blender will default to MANUAL. 

MANUAL FEATURES

SPEED CONTROL DIAL
•  There are 12 speed settings from STIR through to MILL.

•  STIR mixes more delicate foods with a slow stirring motion and light 

pausing to fold ingredients together.

•  MILL is the fastest setting, and is ideal for milling nuts, grains and seeds.

•  The blender is programmed to allow manual speeds to run for 6 minutes 

before automatically stopping.

PAUSE I PLAY
Pauses and holds the speed and timer for up to 2 minutes.  

Press PAUSE I PLAY again to resume.

REPEAT FUNCTION
•  If the START button is pressed when using the manual speed dial, or if 

the timer finishes, the current speed setting will be held for 2 minutes to 

allow a quick repeat of the cycle.

•  Pressing the START button will re-start this repeat cycle.

•  If you want to clear the previous speed from the memory, press and hold 

the START button for 2 seconds.
