Removing an Extension Module
Step 1. Unplug all cables on the panels like optical fiber and RJ45 twisted pairs.
Step 2. Use the screwdriver to loosen the captive screws of the extension module.
Step 3. Pinch the captive screws and rotate the ejector lever outward to pull out the extension module along the rail
slowly.
Step 4. Install a blank panel and put the removed extension module into its package.

Remove the extension module uprightly and slowly.
Do not hold the PCB or touch the components on the PCB.
Install a blank panel to the empty slot to prevent dust from entering the switch.
3.7 Installing and Removing a Power Module
Wear anti-static gloves before the following operations.
Installing a Power Module
1)
Take a new power module out of the package and confirm the input mode and the input parameters of the power
module match the requirements.
2)
Remove the blank panel and take the plane printed with power information as the top panel of the power module.
Hold the handle of the power module with one hand, and hold the end of the power module with the other hand.
Insert it into the chassis along the guide rail uprightly and slowly until a click is heard, and make sure that it is in
good contact with the power slot.
