2.3 System installation and operation
Please follow the steps to set up your laser cutting system
。
Step1
：
Insert the RDC3020G motion controller into PCI slot
1.Switch off the AC power.
2.ware the ESD gloves.
3.Open the computer box and install the RDC3020G controller into the PCI slot.
4.Switch on PC power, If the led flash on the RDC3020G, then the RDC3020G work well.
5.Shut off windows, and Switch off the PC power.
6.Connect other device to RDC3020G terminal board, Such as laser tube, motors etc.
Step 2
：
Connect the RDC3020G controller with the terminal board
Connect the RDC3020G controller to terminal board with the 68 pin SCSI wire.
The power supply of the terminal board is 24V. It should have a 3A driving ability. If 24V power is
switched on, Then the led in the terminal board will on. If there is one or all of the led is not on,
there are fault in the terminal board. Please contact the RuiDa technology.
Step 3
：
Install the PCI driver in windows XP
The PCI driver is just for window XP, If the OS is not windows XP ,please contact RuiDa
technology.
1.When windows started
，
System will check the PCI device automatically and tell user to install
PCI driver.
2.Select

NEXT
”。
3.In this page

search the best driver in the location
”，
and select
“
search include the
location
”，
click

browse
”
.
4.Insert the CD in the cd-rom
。
5.click

Browse
”
and select the directory

Add Hardware Wizard

”。
7.In the device manager
，
there is a new device named

RDDriver
”。

Step 4
：
RDC3020G-PCI test
Open the VisionCut software , If the software is opened successfully. It shows the PCI driver is
