6 Assembly
6.1 Tools and materials
The following tools are required during assembly:
Drill
Dust extraction
Suitable dust extraction for drilling work in a tunnel.
Hand tools
n Open-end/ring spanner, A/F 17 to 32
n Lever/changeover ratchet with torque limitation
n Triangular wrench, A/F 13 to 32
n Spirit level
n Folding rule, 2 m
n Cutter knife
n Screwdriver set
n Rubber mallet
n Hammer
n Set of universal pliers
n Multi-part hexagonal wrench
Installation tester
The installation tester is used to check that electrical switching
operations and installations are functioning correctly.
A suitable measuring device must be tested in accordance with
IEC 61557-3 (DIN EN 61577-3, DIN VDE 0413-3).
Measuring device for earthing resistance
A suitable measuring device for the earthing resistance must be
tested in accordance with IEC 61557-3 (DIN EN 61577-3, DIN VDE
0413-3).
Megohmmeter
The megohmmeter is used to measure the insulation resistances.
A suitable measuring device must be tested in accordance with
IEC 61557-3 (DIN EN 61577-3, DIN VDE 0413-3).
Voltage tester
Up to 25 kV.
The following materials are required during assembly and mainte-
nance:
Fastening brackets
Heavy load anchors, adhesive anchors, threaded anchors
Grease
Shell Retinax EP2 grease
