2. Header
Specifies if the H eader prints on the customer receipt. For more
information about header messages, see Setting H eader M essages and
Footer M essages on page 24.
3. Footer
Specifies if the Footer prints on the customer receipt. For more
information about footer messages, see Setting H eader M essages and
Footer M essages on page 24.
4. Date
Specifies if the D ate prints on the customer receipt.
5. Time
Specifies if the T ime prints on the customer receipt.
1. Receipt Printing - To Journal or For Customer
U se this setting to choose whether you want the receipt printer to print
a receipt for the customer (RECEIPT), or to the journal spindle (JOURNAL).
I f you normally offer receipts to your customers, then you should choose
RECEIPT. I f you would rather keep a tally of your receipts for store
records, choose JOURNAL. O nce set, this setting cannot be changed while
a transaction is active. E ach of these settings has two separate options:
R eceipt
• Per L ine
• Sale E nd T he entire receipt prints when the transaction is finalized.
Journal
• N ormal
• C ompress A condensed receipt prints to the journal spindle(no
header/footer and a smaller font).
T he full receipt prints to the journal spindle.
T he receipt prints as each individual item is rung.
6. Clerk
Specifies if a C lerk name prints on the customer receipt. For information
about setting clerk names, see U sing the C lerk System on page 29.
