the

Feeler

Gauge

If improper gap found, need to adjust as per specified

gap.

Tappet Nut Adjusting Tool

Cam TDC aligning plate



Insert the feeler gauge of the required

specification as mention and Adjust the valve

Tappet Screw to hold the feeler Gauge and adjust

the Valve Tappet nut to its specified tightening

torque 8 - 10 Nm.

(Fig 1.3)



To align the ‘R’ mark (LH side) in Camshaft, rotate

the Magneto Assly. in Anti clockwise.



Ensure the

‘R’ mark (LH side)

in Camshaft

Horizontally inline with Cylinder Head Cover joint

face.



Lock the Cam Shaft (RH side) Slot using special tool

- Cam TDC aligning plate.

‘RH

’ VALVE TAPPET CLEARANCE SETTING



Insert the feeler gauge of the required

specification as mentioned and Adjust the valve

Tappet Screw to check by the feeler Gauge and

adjust the Valve Tappet nut to its specified

tightening torque 8 - 10 Nm.
