Appendix D.

Serial Cable

Serial remote control of the QuadraVista QF requires a special adapter to connect a CAT5 cable the serial

RJ45 port on the unit.

This adapter is connected to the external serial control device (e.g. computer). A standard CAT5 cable is

connected to the adapter. The other end of the CAT5 cable is connected to the RJ45 port on the unit.

The adapter (including a standard CAT5 cable (in green)) is included in the QuadraVista QF package.
