CONSOLE / FADE Menu Item
The
FADE
menu item controls the “Fade Through Black” feature of the QuadraVista QF. With this feature,
when switching channels or display modes, the previous image fades to black, and the next image is faded in
smoothly.
Navigate to the
FADE
menu item in the
CONSOLE
menu using the arrow keys, and press the
Enter
key /
SELECT
button to open the
FADE
window.

To enable “Fade Through Black”, select a transition speed under
Smooth transitions
. The
Speed
setting
controls the speed of the transition, with
Speed 1
being the slowest, and
Speed 3
the fastest transition.
CONSOLE / MULTI MONITOR Menu Item
The
MULTI MONITOR
menu item is used when computers with multiple video-head outputs are connected to
QuadraVista-QF with just one keyboard and mouse being used to operate the computer. Navigate to the
MULTI MONITOR
menu item in the
CONSOLE
menu using the arrow keys, and press the
Enter
key /
SELECT
button to open the
MULTI MONITOR
window.

When using graphics cards with multiple video outputs, the computer’s keyboard and mouse must be assigned
to the corresponding video output (channels 1-4). For example, if a computer with a quad-head graphics card
is connected to QuadraVista-QF, and the keyboard and mouse are connected to Channel 1, assign console
Channel 1
to all video channels (
Monitor 1 - 4
).
