SYSTEM / SECURITY Menu Item
Navigate to the
SECURITY
menu item in the
SYSTEM
menu using the arrow keys, and press the
Enter
key /
SELECT
button to access the Security functions.
The Security feature allows fine-tuning of access to the functional range of the QuadraVista QF. Eight security
levels are available for this purpose.
By default, all functions are enabled (Security Level 0). To change the security level, a pre-defined password
must first be entered.
Note:
This six-digit password is enclosed separately with the QuadraVista QF package. It should only be
accessible to authorized personnel, like administrators.

After entering the password on the keyboard or front panel (password is not displayed in
Password
field), the
SECURITY
window opens.

Enter the desired security level (0 to 8) under
Select security level
.
Note:
Before changing the security level, please set the configuration you wish to work with to the higher security
level, under MODE > START. This configuration will be maintained when QuadraVista QF is reset, in case of
power failure, or when power is turned off and on again.
