The settings at each security level are given below.
Security Level 0:
This is the default setting of QuadraVista QF. All settings are allowed and all functions are enabled.
Security Level 8:
Security Level 8 allows access to only one channel (computer) in a predefined display mode (Quad, Fullscreen
or PiP mode). No settings can be changed, apart from the
SECURITY
menu item, where you can change the
security level.

Security Level 7:
Security Level 7 allows access to OSD windows that only show display modes and device settings.

Security Level 6:
Security Level 6 gives the same access as Security Level 7, along with the following additional permissions:
Ability to set active channel using the front panel buttons, Hotkeys or Hotmouse
Ability to select a channel with the PiP button in Quad mode
Ability to change the directly selectable PiP channel in PiP mode single direct

Security Level 5:
Security Level 5 gives the same access as Security Level 6, along with the following additional permissions:
Ability to set the display mode (Quad / Fullscreen / PiP) using front panel buttons, Hotkeys or Hotmouse
