Two video modes can be selected for each channel, and programmed in the input EDID visible to the computer
connected there. It is recommended to program the preferred video modes for the connected signal source.
The QuadraVista QF also uses these entries to distinguish between certain analog input video signals that are
difficult to distinguish between automatically: The following groups of analog input signals present this problem
for the unit.
■
WUXGA: 1920x1200@60Hz, UXGA: 1600x1200@60Hz and UXGA: 1600x1200@60Hz with reduced
blanking

WUXGA: 1920x1200@50Hz, UXGA: 1600x1200@50Hz and UXGA: 1600x1200@50Hz with reduced
blanking
■
SXGA+: 1400x1050@60Hz and WSXGA: 1680x1050@60Hz
■
XGA: 1024x768@60Hz, WXGA: 1280x768@60Hz and WXGA: 1360x768@60Hz
If problems are experienced with automatic input detection of an analog input signal within these groups, it can
be overridden by programming the expected video signal into the input EDID.
