USSD can be used to provide independent calling services such as a callback service (e.g.
cheaper phone charges while roaming) or interactive data service (e.g. stock quotes, sports
results).
USSD is commonly used by pre-paid GSM cellular phones to query the available balance. The
vendor's "check balance" application hides the details of the USSD protocol from the user.

= the command for recharging a particular network operator, using the 14-digit code
from the “scratch” card (zzzzzzzzzzzzzz = “scratch” card code).

= USSD code , for example, to activate services, supplementary services (eg,
diversion of incoming calls), the top-up using telecode or checking the available limit on your
account in the prepaid system.
10. CONTROL and MODULE STATUS VIA: DTMF
Module functions enable controlling outputs and arming via DTMF code. The control is possible
during a voice connection, notifications with a remote telephone (e.g. mobile phone) or with the use
of telephone connected with the TIP-RING output. Full functionality and user friendly voice menu are
available in the configuration with the VSR-2 voice synthesizer. In case of lack of VSR-2, the voice
menu is unavailable and the DTMF control is confirmed with sound signals.
