4-3 Setting the Y-axis Origin for the Rotary Axis Unit
Resetting the Y-axis Origin Point
CAUTION Do not touch the tip of the blade with your fingers.
Doing so may result in injury.
If the Y origin for the rotary axis unit is misaligned, the cutting results may have seams or differences in level, or the
shape may be irregular. You can obtain attractive cutting results by resetting the origin-point location.
1.
Install the sensor.

Press the VIEW button to make the VIEW light come on.

If a cutter is installed, then remove it.
➌
Detach the sensor.
➍
Detach the workpiece chuck.
➎
Install the sensor shown in the figure.
Secure in place using the screw used to attach the workpiece chuck.
