Line up five profiles in a straight line with R-1E profiles in
the middle. Hand tighten set screw on each end
of R-1 profile to hold in place.

Assemble Roof Ridge
Secure B-5 connector by attaching bolts
to the set screws. NOTE: Long hex bolt is
secured after installation.
Adjust position of set screws and long hex bolt to fit holes in B-5 connector. Position each B-5
connector with the long hex bolt in center hole, and center to the seam where the profiles join.

Prepare the two R-1 and three R-1E roof profiles. They will line up in a row and joined using
four B-5 connectors using a total of eighteen set screws and four long
hex bolts. Arrange profile so bolt track is facing up.
Slide set screws into bolt track on
each end of profile as shown.

NOTE: Have the hex shaped indent facing up. Screw in until it is flush with bottom of nut so
it slides easily into bolt tracks. After inserting into bolt track, screw in until it holds in place.
Make certain the pieces are in the correct positions before assembling.
Carefully follow the order of assembly to ensure an easy installation.
Wear proper safety gear including work shoes, gloves and goggles.
Prepare needed set screws as shown in step 1.1A
