1) Open the air valve.
2) Before operation, set the pressure switch to the required pressure.
3) Loosen the lever of the direction control valve by turning it in a
counter-clockwise direction.
4) Turn on the operation switch to start the motor.
5) Turn the lever of the direction control valve in a clockwise direction
and tighten by hand. The piston of the cylinder extends and pressure
rises, the operation is performed.
6) When pressure rises to the set pressure level of the pressure switch,
the motor stops and pressure is maintained at that level.
The motor starts again when pressure falls to differential pressure lower than pressure level set on the
pressure switch.
7) To retract the cylinder, turn the lever of the directional control valve in a counter-clockwise direction.
8) When operation is complete, retracts the pistons, turns off the operation switch, and stops the motor.
9) Close the air valve.

（３） ＳＭＰ−３０ＡＲ、ＳＭＰ−４０ＡＲ
The single-acting cylinder returns automatically when the pressure rises to the set pressure of the
pressure switch.
All other functions are the same as SMP-30NV and SMP-40NV.
Example of Use: For a single-acting cylinder (spring return):
Connect the high pressure hose and cylinder as shown in the diagram.
1) Open the air valve.
2) Before operation, set the pressure switch to the required pressure.
3) Turn on the operational switch to start the motor. The piston of the cylinder
extends, pressure rises, and the operation is performed.
4) When pressure reaches the pressure set on the pressure switch, the motor will
stop, the pressure will fall and the piston of the cylinder will retract.
To repeat the operation, turn the operational switch off and then on again.
If the pump motor is stopped before the level set on the pressure switch is
reached, the cylinder will retract when the operational switch is turned off.
5) Close the air valve.
