This pump provides remote control of a double acting cylinder, by using solenoid operated
direction control valves to provide with instant operation as well as excellent response.
This pump and valve combination enables system high pressure to be maintained for long periods.
Example of Use: For a double-acting cylinder:
Connect the high pressure hose and cylinder as shown ‒ specifically connect port A to the push side
and port B to the pull side.
1) Open the air valve.
2) Before operation, set the pressure switch to the required pressure.
3) Push the “Push” button of the operation switch. The motor starts and hydraulic oil
will be discharged from port A, the cylinder piston will advance, system pressure
will rise allowing a specific operation to be performed.
4) When pressure reaches the level set on the pressure switch, the motor will stop
but pressure and cylinder stroke position will be maintained, even if the
“Push” button on the operational switch is released. If the “Push” button of the
operational switch is released before pressure reaches the setting on the pressure
switch, the motor will stop and both system pressure and the plunger stroke
position, will “hold” at the position reached.
5) When the “Pull” button of the operation switch is pushed, the pump motor will
start, discharging hydraulic oil through port B and the cylinder plunger to retract.
6) When the “Pull” button of the operation switch is released during this operation,
the motor stops and the pressure and piston of the cylinder also stop at the
position reached.
7) When operation is complete, retract the plunger of the double acting cylinder.
8) Close the air valve.
