Carefully check
the increase in
oil temperature and motor heating
when the pump
is used continuously, and be sure to follow the time regulation for each pump.
Use general-purpose
ISO VG32 oil
with the electric pump (for example,
RIKEN POWER OIL). Phosphoester, water glycol, and w/o emulsion oils cannot be used.
The electric pump will malfunction due to deterioration of packing and corrosion of the equipment.
Contact Riken should it be necessary to use these types of unapproved oils.
Do not use the high pressure safety valve as a relief valve. Install a separate
relief valve if it is necessary to perform continuous pressure relief operation.
Use oil that is between 5° and 60° Celsius
.
Use of oil that exceeds 60°Celsius will shorten the lifespan of the micro pump and lead to
malfunction.
The most prevalent reason for pump malfunction is infiltration of dirt and other
foreign objects.
The pump
and other auxiliary equipment
should be kept clean
to prevent the
infiltration of such foreign objects.
Hydraulic oil should be changed at least once a year.
