User’s Guide for VS5000 Series

Restart oscilloscope and software, you can view the Property of Network
protocol in Configuration dialog box if USB communication is active.

NOTES:

z

Make sure that the oscilloscope has been connected with network through
Router in” Obtain an IP automatically”.

z

Make sure the validity of IP address in ‘Obtain an IP manually’.

z

Restart the oscilloscope and PC after finishing configuration.

z

The function of Configure Network is invalidation in Network Communication.

2. Connection Setting:

z

Connect software and oscilloscope in Network Communications.

z

Select Network Communication. Open Control->Connection menu, it will pop up
a dialog, click check option LAN and select Network Communication, then set
IP address and port value to be the oscilloscope’s. Finally, click Apply to finish
connecting.

z

If communication has been found, System will clew that network connection is
successful. If failed, please check hardware connection and settings of Network
Protocol property.

NOTES:

z

Please pay attention to check the settings of Safety level of firewall when using
Network Communication.

z

In network communication, you are suggested to use “Resume default setting”
carefulness as Default connection is USB connection. Meanwhile, related result
may be brought if you cancel all the settings about Network Protocol Property.
